Hi! We are Hillary and Melanie, the Moms and minds behind (g)row.

We became friends and bonded while both pregnant with our first babies. The many walks we took while pregnant included a lot of conversations about our desire to not lose ourselves as we transitioned into motherhood. We had dreams of continuing to do all of the things we loved to do just slightly modified for baby in tow. 

​

Once our boys, R and O, were born (only 9 weeks apart!) we became one another's biggest ally on our mission to live a self-full life and be great moms. The support we gave each other in our efforts to parent our own unique way was invaluable and we both felt a tug to make our circle bigger. This is when the idea for (g)row was born. 

 

(g)row is more than a brick-and-mortar retail store. It is a community for parents and families; a safe space for parents raising their children by whatever book they choose (or no book at all!) with the likeminded hope of not completely losing who they were pre-parenthood. (g)row offers parents research, tips, products, tools, and support for how to continue being you after parenthood.
